Fantasy Cappies is one of my favorite sites on the interweb.  For those of you who don't know, the internet is actually a series of tubes through which information travels and not, as is commonly thought, a network of interconnected computer networks.  You can ask paranoid schizophrenic Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska).

But while Fantasy Cappies is by far the best site on the interweb, it is not without it's flaws.

First of all, what the hell is that song on the home page?  He's going the distance?  Nobody cares about racing.  Fuck NASCAR.

Secondly, there's no structure regarding user standings.  Why aren't there any conferences or divisions?  How will the winner be determined?  Will we have a playoff system or some sort of polling system or what?

And finally, I know it's Tripod and all, but could we get a better color scheme for the site?  I mean, seriously, what the christ? Gray, gray, and more gray.  You'd think Hellen Keller designed the site with the music and the layout.  I

know it's easy on the eyes, but god damn, let's liven it up a little.  Again, realize it's a free account on Tripod but I'm beginning to wonder how long before my eyes start to bleed from the shitty site design.

But other than that great site.  Keep up the good work. (Ben Thomas)

In Response to Your Query...From Admin C.Sileo to Member Ben Thomas:

First, I'd like to thank you for posting your concerns and invite any other member to do the same. I ask only that the comments stay associated with the Fantasy Cappies League, the Lord's name is not taken in vain, and that expletives are not used. This is a literary and educational institution first and foremost.

To address your concerns the song on the homepage is "Going the Distance" by underrated band, Cake. The song is not so much about NASCAR, as it is a euphemism for the Cappie experience.

The winner of the Cappies Fantasy League will be determined by the best record of an individual member. If there is a tie, sometype of payoff system will be developed. Additional developments on this issue will be forthcoming

In addition, any comments, concerns, or complaints concerning the website's layout should be forwarded to our site designer at helenk@fanatasycappies.tripod.com

Thank you for your support,

Caitlin Sileo (Site Admin and Head Lead Critic)

p.s. Fuck you Ben NASCAR rules, the South will rise again!
